It’s Been a While

Those are lyrics to an old song I used to listen to as a kid. They are appropriate for this situation and I apologize for the radio silence! But I promise it has been for a good reason. Let me give you the details below.

First, if you’ve been following my November writing journey, you will have seen that I achieved the 50,000 word goal. This marks my fifteenth year doing so! I am super excited for the project that I have been writing and hope to be able to bring it to you soon, but it still needs a lot of work, including an ending to be written, so that will be a while off.

Next, I needed to finish up a short story for my submission to the Window to Worlds anthology collection. Keep an eye out for this zine to be released where you can read my entry, titled “Crisis Paper,” along with many other pieces from talented writers.

The ebook for Relapse is now available on Amazon! I probably should have started with this, but it is something the publisher has been working on in the background not so much me. Finally, and perhaps most importantly…drum roll…I have started the process of getting my next book out through the publisher! The manuscript needs a few more small tweaks and the cover art is being designed. I don’t have a firm deadline for this yet, but I am planning to have this book released within the next two months! I will definitely keep you updated.

As this month wraps up, I am planning on resuming regular updates here for you and getting back into posting to Vocal as well. It has been a busy month with writing, my day job, and family obligations. Have a Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it!
